Ms. Anastasia

Anastasia Loskutov began her dance journey at the age of 9, training at Victoria Ballet Academy in Vaughan, Ontario, under the guidance of Victoria Mironova and Elena Dmitrieva, former soloists of the Mikhailovsky and Mariinsky theatres. Graduating at the top of her class at 16, Anastasia earned her "Artiste de Ballet" diploma, honing her skills in various styles, including ballet, contemporary, character, and pas de deux.

In 2011, Anastasia was selected to join the prestigious Boston Ballet School's trainee program for the 2011-2012 season. There, she had the opportunity to dance alongside second company and company members. In 2012, she continued her education at the renowned Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia, training under Marina Vasilieva and other world-class educators.

From 2013 to 2016, Anastasia worked as a company member of the USA's Columbia Classical Ballet company, expanding her repertoire with corps de ballet and soloist roles in iconic ballets such as Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Swan Lake, Nutcracker, and La Bayadere, among others.

In 2016, Anastasia returned to Toronto to complete her university education at York University, focusing on her career as a dance teacher with Victoria Ballet Academy. She continued to perform as a guest principal dancer for Victoria Ballet Company.

With 14 years of ballet teaching experience across various age groups, Anastasia has achieved remarkable accolades. She secured first place in the Ukrainian National Ballet Competition twice (in 2006 and 2011) and reached the semi-finals of the Beijing International Ballet Invitational in 2010.

Anastasia is thrilled to share her wealth of ballet knowledge and expertise with dancers and enthusiasts in Orillia and the surrounding areas!
